Established in 2013 as a result of consolidating the Egbert Benson Historical Society of Red Hook and the Friends of Elmendorph, Historic Red Hook preserves and promotes Red Hook’s past to enrich the present and help guide the future. We offer regular programs on local history topics and open the Elmendorph Inn for community events. Our Archives Room, located on the second floor of the Elmendorph Inn, is open to the public on Tuesdays from 10 am to 4 pm or by appointment.
