2013-095.27.059.3 TSF Collection, Letter to Carmen and Olin Dows III    Typewritten letter to Carmen and Olin Dows from "Smedley, Luis, and me." This is the front side of the second page of the letter; the rest of the letter is recorded in the RHS database as 2013-095.27.59.1-2 and 2013-095.27.59.4. On the top of the page, the author writes how the Mayhards hare having a small dance on December 3rd and the authors are having a dinner party beforehand. In the first full paragraph, the author discusses the "ups and downs" of Luis' business life. The author discusses how Luis was invited to a lunch with "Nelson and his cronies," but to the left of this section in the margins, "(they canceled the lunch)" is written in blue pen. In the second paragraph, the author apologies for not writing about "the rug" sooner and discusses receiving color samples.
